We recently had the pleasure of working on a Breast Cancer Awareness spot for Adventist Health Care. The spot was created to play on the jumbotron at the 2019 Washington Spirit’s home finale, for the first “Show Your Survivor Spirit” event. This half time event was host by Adventist Health Care, and the spot was designed to remind those modern busy moms to remember to stay healthy by getting their check ups and mammograms. For me, life is about finding passions, pursuing dreams and connecting with people.
When I was a young boy, I asked many questions, loved to explore, and was fascinated by gadgets. One day I found a vintage 1930s light meter in our attic. I took that meter everywhere I went and was fascinated that I could measure and study the strength and qualities of light. I wondered about who had held the meter and what photos they might have taken. I look back now and I feel that this lost treasure helped me find a course, which would ultimately lead me to become a storyteller. I am incredibly fortunate to do what I love for work.
Everyone has a story! Here’s a bit of mine:
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Maryland at Baltimore County, with a degree in Visual Arts. I have lived and worked in Los Angels on feature films as a Film Editor and Director of Photography. I currently live in Maryland and produce, write, DP, and direct Documentary style films, TV commercials, corporate films, music videos, and short films. I tend not to seek out awards, because I believe our work speaks for itself; however, our clients have entered our films and won many awards.
I have a wonderful wife and two terrific kids who amaze me every single day. I love to hike. (Acadia Park is a favorite) I have lived in several places, been to many more, driven across this country multiple times, enjoy cooking, playing golf, hanging out with friends, meeting new people and hearing what makes them tick.
If that last paragraph felt like a cheesy dating site bio, I am not embarrassed to admit that I met my wife on Match.com around 14 years ago.
